Clinica Medica General has a Radiology Department at each of our locations for the comfort of our patients. The procedure is quick and painless and has the objective of “photographing” the interior of your body, specially your bones and organs.

X rays are used to detect fractures and infection of the bones, reveal arthritis, osteoporosis, bone cancer and the formation of tumors. X rays allow the doctors to examine:

Lungs, possible infections such as pneumonia, tuberculosis or lung cancer. The heart. Detect breast cancer, since a mammogram is a special type of x ray that allow the doctors to observe breast tissue as well as detect problems in the digestive system o f there is any obstruction in the blood vessels.
